“How far in advance should I book my florist?”

At BBonnie Flowers we suggest a minimum of 6-12 months but we can of course work within a shorter timeframe if we still have your date available. Or if you are really organised 18 months in advance is when we start to take bookings for weddings and events.

We do recommend paying your 30% deposit as early as possible as we only take a limited number of weddings each weekend. After your deposit is paid we can easily sort through changes and revisions to the order details, nothing needs to be firmly set in stone until 6 weeks prior to your wedding day. However your Date is not secured until you have paid your deposit.

“How do I organise a wedding consultation?”

The first step is come and say Hi (Contact Us), - we will then ensure we have your date available. From there we will ask you some more details and get started on your planning. However, if we are not available we will soon recommend one of our lovely flower friends.

“Do I need to know what I want?”

No, not at all.

We suggest you do a little research into the types of flowers and design you like – everyone’s tastes are different and there are hundreds of options when it comes to flower design. Even sending one or two inspirations photos or a favourite colour can point us in the right direction. You can get some inspiration by looking at our Instagram @BBonnieFlowers.

You don’t need to have thought through every single detail, we are happy to provide suggestions and options to fit your budget, every wedding we do is completely bespoke to yourself.

“Where do you cover?”

So we are based in Edinburgh, but we do cover the whole of Scotland and very lucky to have a base in Dumfries, Perth, Aberdeen and Glasgow. So nowhere is too far to travel. We will go further afield however with every journey mileage is charged.

‘What is the Booking Process?”

  • Initial discussions via email, phone or in person

  • You would then receive an initial proposal.

  • I will send you a quote and if you are happy you would pay 30% non-refundable payment and sign BBonnie Flowers contract which would Secure your date and BBonnie Flowers are your bespoke florist.

  • You can then keep me updated on your plans and ideas and we would finalise your flowers six weeks before your Wedding day. This is when the final 70% payment is required.

  • I would then check in and say Hi a week before unless we have already spoken.

  • Then I will pop in and say hello while you are chilling with a glass of fizz on your wedding morning. (Maybe join in or just deliver your flowers)
